NEWSLETTER NUMBER SEVENTY-NINE

By Our Actions We Are Known and Remembered

As we go into the early stages of autumn, we start to see that this year, as with others, has gone very quickly indeed.

What have we done with our lives to make the necessary impact, not only for ourselves, but to others around us?

By us all doing our bit to support family and friends, we are assured we have done all that we were able to do in making their lives better in the years to come.

We all must in our own way put down solid foundations of love and support, so that we become stronger and more forward thinking in our own progress in this life on earth.

To find the Holy Spirit is not to go to the many services that the Churches provide, but to be in the still private space, where we allow ourselves to be.

It is in these special places, where quietness allows our minds to become receptive to the words of God and the Holy Spirit.

It allows us to hear in our own minds what it is we need to do and how we will always benefit from this Holy advice.

We, as human beings, are so loved and so cared for, that it is time we started to acknowledge that love is all around us, encouraging us to do the right things.

By our actions we are known and remembered.

Words of kindness are often appreciated at the time, but it is those demonstrations of kindness, especially in times of need that will remain with us for all our lives.

By doing great acts of kindness, when it is our turn in need, so a complete stranger or someone you hardly know, will act to support you.

What you have given in the past is returned to you in your hours of need.

Love transcends all things and is the very essence that keeps us alive and well. So we need to make sure we not only learn to love ourselves, but those around us, who are always greatly in need!

The Church and State Interfere too Much in Our Lives

“The purpose of Mankind is to see what he can achieve in his own life time. That doesn’t mean sitting on his seat and expecting others like the state to always provide and always to satisfy his/hers needs.

“Mankind needs to start thinking for himself and sort out the many problems, which he has created. He must stop the flow of indifference and uncompromising thoughts and actions.

“He alone is master of his own destiny and must seek the Higher Calling for its direction. Then a better and more productive life can be established. There needs to be a purpose and sustainability for himself and his family.

“We are all on this earth equally to help one another with compassion and understanding. We must share the many gifts that we all have, so that again all can progress and thrive collectively.

“The Church and State have interfered too much in our lives dictating what we can and what we cannot do. We all know instinctively what is right, as we were all created by the Love Force and the Higher Intelligence.

“With this Intelligence, we were all created and given the power of intellect and this is ingrained in all of us, so that we already know what is right and wrong. It is the indoctrination of both Church and State, which has messed up so many lives.

“Governments have taken countries to war against the wishes of their citizens who voice that war is wrong – yet they still have done it! This has produced long term misery, hardship and mayhem throughout their own people.

“The Church has equally striven to control the populous. Not in the education of Christ’s teachings of love and support for each other, but to control us for their own will and pleasure. They state that God has directed them in what we all need to do through them.

“The Church’s crimes of interfering with their congregation, have appalled the people worldwide. Yet they still think they are holy and have the word of God on their side.

“It’s the individual that needs to seek out God’s help alone & together with his/her own conscience go forward & have their productive life. A journey of self-discovery and also in the helping of others less fortunate them themselves, they will always find peace and happiness.”

“Take a good look in the mirror and see the good things that are there. It doesn’t profit any one to just count the wrinkles and observe the ravages of time. As we mature so we change for the better.”

Suffer Little Children (Malak is the Semitic word for Angel)

“When will the international communities hold Israel to account? Why is the world so frightened and intimidated by Israel and its stranglehold on them that obviously must be there?

“No country that agrees to the human rights laws can uphold the treatment given to Palestinians and Palestinian prisoners by Israel. It makes a total mockery of what these countries stand for and their hypocritical arguments. Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners are threatening to join in a fast, if Israel does not stop incarcerating people without charge.

“Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have now threatened to launch a mass hunger strike next month if prison authorities do not release them and end the administrative detention. Currently there are 17 prisoners on hunger strike and at least six of them have refused food for 36 days.

“They are being held in solitary confinement. These men are held as administrative detainees. This practice is where Israel detains them without charges, which are renewable at six monthly intervals. More than 100 additional prisoners have pledged to join these hunger strikes, if Israel does not meet their conditions.

“There are worries for the prisoners, who have already lost significant weight. For those who are too weak to walk, no doctor has been allowed in to see them. There are currently more than 5,500 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, including 350 administrative detainees.

“Palestinian children equally come under the heavy cosh of the Israeli military. A young 14 year old girl called Malak was detained for allegedly throwing stones and carrying a knife. This girl was sentenced to two months in prison and became the youngest female detainee.

“Malak was brought before the court handcuffed and her legs shackled together. She was so scared she confessed to everything. Before being sentenced Malak spent three weeks in prison. She had been blindfolded and taken in for interrogation without her family being there.

“The Palestine chapter for Defence for Children International said some 600 children were brought before the military judge in 2014. The average number of minors held in Israeli military detention is 197 per month. The Israeli authorities’ policy of child detention contravenes all international conventions on the rights of minors.

“Children still are arrested without their parent’s knowledge. For 48 hours or longer they are without seeing a lawyer until they stand before a military judge in the court.

“Despite International Law & international juvenile justice standards in the prohibition of compelling a child to testify against themselves or even confessing guilt while under torture – nothing is done!

“All this is common place in Israeli military detention systems. In 2014 children were coerced into signing confessions in Hebrew, despite the fact that they could not even speak the language. UNICEF and the United Nations programme focusing on these children are clearly failing them and the disgrace must be felt equally.

“Countries around the world that condone this kind of treatment should all be ashamed of themselves for allowing it! It clearly makes International Law a complete farce with no teeth and no guilt to take any drastic humanitarian measures.

“If sanctions can be so liberally enforced around the world for other misdemeanours then Israel can also be sanctioned for their criminal acts!”

“As the sun shines, so you know that you are blessed above others. If you recognise the gifts of our Creator, who gave us life and love, you are well on the way to a better life.”

What Can Ever be Achieved Without Trust?

“For the people of this world to cooperate with each other, a form of trust and recognition of that trust must be put into action. By continuing with this process, then a dialogue to bring about the right solutions can be forth coming. Governments are all about self-interests.

“No one ever considers the overall global problems, where self-interests need to go beyond the boundaries that we all have. Governments need to come together to bring about collective solutions to global problems, many of which have been ignored for years.

“Until justice is given to those who have no voice to be heard, you’ll always breed frustration, anger & hatred until vengeance is released. This is usually released on the innocent of this world.

“It is time that Governments started to put their policies right, not only for their own people but for the entire world. The same old disenfranchised people will continue to suffer and be persecuted.

“Globally many groups are being formed, where extreme hatred is at the centre of their policies. They fear that nobody is listening to them and their grievances – they are correct.

“Until Governments start taking responsibilities for their gross neglect of their own people together with those throughout the land then anger is fuelled and the consequences are very damaging indeed. We can no longer turn a blind eye to so many wrongs being committed.

“Where Governments try to overthrow Governments, just because they don’t like that person in power. We all live on this tiny globe and what affects one part of it has serious consequences to the other parts. It is high time that solutions on a global basis were found and not just to deal with the interests of the few. Heavy handedness has caused irreparable damage and where globally we are all suffering!”

“Watching how others live their lives is a good way of learning. Copy their good moves and learn from their mistakes. Remember that you will not see the whole picture, so act on your instincts and let Spiritual Guidance show you the right way to go.”

The East West Divide

“The gap between the West verses the East will never be brought together as their differences are too immense and too complicated. Both ideologies are directly opposed to each other and nothing diplomatically will ever bridge that divide. It is now that both sides have to make some drastic concessions to bring about positive new forces.

“Where the political divide is not devastated, but where common ground can be reached to bring about changes in the political discussions. This way wars are no longer the main discussion, but where all factors can bring strong solutions to the negotiating table. Life is not a continuous set of disasters.

“There needs to be compromise and efficacy, where everybody gains and few lose face as they bring their solutions to the table. Democracy is not for everyone – that is plain to see, but human rights for the people are an important factor, where stability on a long term basis certainly is!

“Wars are both costly and unproductive. War causes misery to those thrown into the war zones and great hardship to those who instigate the wars also. The people in both the western and the eastern regions of the globe are bringing their displeasure to the table of their Governments.

“They are asking important questions, “Do we really need war and what are the diplomatic solutions to sort these matters out?” “Legal frameworks are put on the table together with an understanding of each other’s needs for security and the right to defend themselves.

“Those common interests become possible and a light of understanding is formed. Where continuous aggression is always the subject matter then little can be done until that aggression, which is usually fear based, is alleviated.

“Man must have an understanding of each other’s needs and fears and a solid framework where the factors are discussed and solved. These will bring down the many barriers of underlying grief and frustration.

“This must be held up by International Law and respected for what it is laid down for. Then countries can come together and peaceful solutions are always found. “Trade is the prime ice breaker where all gain collectively and it is in everybody’s interest to maintain that status quo.”

“Until Mankind learns to live together in harmony for the Greater Good, no progress will be made. First and foremost we have to establish the work of individuals to bring us all together in the right way by their example.”

What is the Future for Syria?

“The situation in Syria is now rising to its highest ever death toll and the complications surrounding this war will continue to increase. It is not a question that this war will burn itself out. The flames of injustice continue to burn, no matter what outside intervention can or does muster.

“The US air strikes will not quash the IS situation, as they continue to gather recruits from all over the world. Bashar al-Assad sits on his ivory throne expecting Russia and Iran to continue bailing him out.

“There is now approaching an impasse where the major factions, Russia, Iran and the US start to put together a plan of action. Nobody truly wins, but where Syria can be sliced up in parts to accommodate the uses of all the foreign powers.

“There they can realise what bits are important to them and how their influence can best serve their own purposes. Syria as a whole nation is now finished. Its people are scattered around the world.

“This broken nation will be determined not by Bashar al-Assad, but by the more important players. They see their role as masters over other agendas in which they wish to participate.

“Syria for them becomes the bargaining chip for greater prizes, which these states are after. The Syrian people are superfluous to these tactics, as they are dispensable in the role of geopolitical influence and control.

“See a fragmented Syria and see the higher powers now negotiate between themselves for the spoils of war. The Syrian people will never get a look in. See another puppet dictator put on the throne. He will have to answer to more than one master.”

“Nothing lasts forever and change is always in the wind. You are never stuck in a rut, even if it is of your own making. Look for the constant movement, as everything is in motion.”

What Price for the Sanctity of Life?

“The sadness and hopelessness of refugees around the world gives off an energy of gross negative thinking, these pitiful souls carry this negative energy everywhere they go. It infiltrates the positive energies that are in Europe and the Middle East.

“It replaces them with a hole of depression for what is now lost in their lives. This world now has many holes of depression. It is difficult to re-energise again, as the negative energies run deep into the earth’s soul.

“Much healing must be given by those who have the gifts and can once again redress the balance. If this is not done then the depression and hopelessness will continue to grow and spread.

“Solutions to world problems are not governed by single countries alone. It is by huge numbers of countries that must join together to bring about relief & recognise the sanctity of life throughout this world. No longer can it be left to a select few to undertake the burdens of the many countries that fail to do their responsible bit.

“For peace to be established there must be a Universal Forum that sets the rules of engagement & brings about peace through lawful actions. No longer can the world tolerate the abysmal goings on by tyrants. They rule for their own self-interest and ignore the sufferings of their people.

“There must be an international body that is released from the constraints of those who pay towards it. Unless they become truly independent and law sustaining, nothing will ever get sorted out.

“This world is collapsing under the heavy strains of injustice, incompetence and corruption on every level. The people of this world are crying out for peace and justice. The Governments continue to ignore their pleas.

“The time is now right for an insurgence of new life policies. Justice at long last must be finally observed through the rule of law by all – then and only then will the people be able to recover.

“Peace and stability can finally repair this broken world that we all live in!”

Long to Reign Over Us

“Britain’s Queen Elizabeth, who ascended the throne aged 25 years old, has made history today by becoming the UK’s longest reigning monarch. A lady of great dignity, service and charm, she has not always agreed with the British public.

“However she has had to succumb to what she feels is right, sometimes against her better judgement. Queen Elizabeth has been brought up with duty as the main priority of her life and what is expected of her throughout her reign.

“It is this responsibility to the duty of the office she holds, that is very dear to her heart and mind. Queen Elizabeth is not easily flustered. This Queen has imposed her will of steadfastness to the cause of reigning without question in a world that reaps havoc everywhere one turns.

“On many occasions she has had to re-invent herself and the Monarchy. She has had to steer it through the many difficult times when unforeseen events steered it off course.

“Queen Elizabeth has tried in every way possible to bend with the tide of change in an ever developing world. Elizabeth II has been able to stand the test of time.

“Whatever your feelings are about the Royal Family and the Queen Elizabeth especially she is at the heart of every decision that brings about unity to a family that is as diverse as the world is itself.

“The Queen has had to hold onto the reins of being instrumental on its course for change and to become established with a strong foothold in today’s modern society.

“She has evolved and tried her best to bring about peace and harmony to all those whom she holds dear to herself; her overseas work with The Commonwealth has been a joy. She personally holds the responsibility for it and she fights in her own way to bring about justice in an unjust world.

“Queen Elizabeth will always find time to listen and to express her feelings in an upright responsible way. She has spread her influence both in Great Britain and abroad. There are many in the world who seek her opinion as a voice of experience. She has never let them down!

“Her domestic life is full of fun, but equally of confrontation. This she has had to balance out in her own way, succeeding on most occasions. Her legacy of the many things that she has singlehandedly achieved will only be revealed once she has passed on!

“Queen Elizabeth is an enigma that one thinks they know her, when in fact they really do not! She holds her own views very much to her chest and will only voice them to a few chosen loyal subjects.

“Her family and her extended family mean the world to her. Her Nation is an extension of that family of which she works tirelessly to bring about results that would otherwise never get known about.

“Where she will never be seen to have her own views, they are voiced by others whom she sees will be able to carry out her wishes & concerns. This is always done in sympathy to the cause and with the utmost secrecy and discretion.

“Queen Elizabeth is a force to be reckoned with. Do not just see her as this tiny old lady with her infectious smile. She is a formidable player in a world of politics when she feels the need. Queen Elizabeth knows about life and the history of things.

“She is well educated and well-informed & where she feels she is able to do her bit to get matters put right, she is well ahead of the game. The political system in Great Britain and the press management of affairs cannot hold a candle to her expertise, advice and knowhow. She surpasses them all!

“Ever active & changing, where necessary & when the need arises, Queen Elizabeth is always at the helm of new ways of working & influencing. Queen Elizabeth has made her role as Queen her own. She governs in a way that one wouldn’t think possible, but in fact she has got it down to a fine and active art.

“This is an insight into the Queen that many would not know about, except a loyal chosen few and they would never divulge!”

“We all need a role model to look up to and to learn from. Jesus showed us how to be meek and mild and yet to succeed. If we always stand up for what is right, there is some hope of righteousness occurring.”

Whatever Will They Find Next?

“Durrington Walls super-henge is a huge ritual monument, which dates from the time of Stonehenge. It has been discovered hidden under the bank of a nearby Stone Age enclosure.

“Durrington Walls is a roundish super-henge, which has long puzzled archaeologists. This is because one side is straight while the rest of the structure is curved. With ground-penetrating radar, it has now been found that the straight end is actually aligned over a row of ninety massive standing stones.

“These stones once stood fifteen feet high and formed a C-shaped arena, which has not been seen for thousands of years. The stone line, which curves into the C-shape towards one end, is thought to be a ritual processional route. This would be dated to the time of the Sarsen Circle at Stonehenge.

“The stones are believed to have been pushed over and a bank was built over them. Archaeologists are trying to investigate when they were built, as there is nothing like it that exists in the world. This site is definitely one of the largest stone monuments in Europe and is completely unique.

“The site was used as a ritual site of some kind. As a monument it is very theatrical, as the design is there to impress and empower. This circle demonstrates a phase with monumental architecture, as one of the greatest ceremonial sites in prehistoric Europe.

“The stones could be contemporary with the famous Stonehenge Sarsen Circle or even earlier. Durrington Walls sits in a depression not far from the River Avon near Amesbury, Wiltshire.

“It is one of the largest known henge monuments measuring around 1,640 feet in diameter. It was built around 4,500 years ago in the Neolithic or new Stone Age.

“The site is surrounded by a ditch of up to fifty-four feet wide and a bank of more than three feet high. It was also built on the same Summer Solstice alignment.

“Bradford archaeologists have been working alongside an international team of experts as part of the Stonehenge Hidden Landscape Project. Having mapped out the entire area with the latest technology, their latest results have produced this evidence at Durrington Walls.

“This is the site of the largest Neolithic settlements in Europe and will add a new dimension to the Stonehenge story. We are all living in exciting times and, thanks to ground-breaking technology, scientists are able to reveal what the naked eye cannot!”

Brighten up Someone’s Day

As the world keeps on turning around and no progress appears to be happening, there are actually striking changes happening in the world that affect us all.

We are beginning to see situations now changing, where Mankind is seeing his own mistakes in so many ways. Mankind is trying in his own feeble way to rectify the damage they have all imposed on others.

Diseases are being rectified by countries and pharmaceuticals companies are beginning to work together and pull resources to combat diseases which affect us all.

They are no longer looking as costs, but on how they are able to join together with their own products to bring about drugs, which can eliminate diseases that affect the poor.

The common good is what this is all about and it is when problems arise that we all need to pull together to help to ease suffering amid devastation.

None of us are alone and it is this combined effort that raises those who have reached rock bottom to find a better life for themselves and then they are able to put back into society.

If nothing is ever done, the weak only get weaker and will eventually pull down the strong. The strong will have nowhere to run and succeed on their own, as they need the rest of humanity to keep them up and running.

Without the infrastructure of manpower, none can survive alone and will eventually drop down and die. We are all interdependent upon each other in so many ways to be able to survive these days.

It is in our food, which farmers toil long hours each day, so that we may have food to eat. It is in our water supply. None of us can live without fresh water, which many of us take for granted by getting it out of our taps.

Our roads and methods of transport, all are needed to work efficiently to give us the means to travel in our daily lives. Again we all take these for granted.

Our medical profession work hard to keep us healthy and strong and to deal with the many illnesses we get from stresses in the modern world.

Until we all start to realise that without each other doing our bit for humanity, nobody can survive for long.

We must pull together in whatever way we can to bring about a better society, a better world, where we can trust in our freedoms, but where we must learn to understand another’s point of view.

None of us anymore can afford to make mistakes, as they have far-reaching consequences, which means that making matters right for all of us takes more time and effort and is needed to make a difference.

Every action that is good counts and all who make small efforts are needed, otherwise nothing will change.

It is all about how you treat other people and not how many people you have power over.

Spreading some kindness can go a long way in making this world a better place. Think about the time when someone did something unexpected for you to brighten up your day.

When we all receive kindness and support, we are sending out a special kind of message and this will always brighten up someone’s day.

Every single thing that we do makes a difference and automatically we become that better person and are able to help others.

Collectively, as we all work together, things on a massive global aspect does actually change and things for the common good can be achieved.

“What is the point in taking what we want for our own short-lived pleasures and leaving the cupboard bare? To live for today without having anything to give to others is a short-sighted policy.”

Jesus’ Role is to Lead us back to ‘God’ and the Kingdom of Heaven

“Congregational churches with scores, hundreds or thousands of members can never be a mechanism by which we can have full communication with the living Jesus.

“Jesus’ role is to lead us back to ‘God’ and the Kingdom of Heaven. The reason for this is because the way is mystical and hidden from our earthly senses. Our journey, always on a one to one with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, is not compatible in a crowd.

“Events during the service of the church are made for the congregation to focus on. They are a distraction as to what is important for the individual. Therefore the congregation focuses without and not within, which is the all-important factor here.

“Jesus stated in the Bible (Matthew 6:6), “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou hast shut thy door pray to thy Father, which is in secret; and thy Father, which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”

“This way of being in a quiet at one place with Jesus & ‘God’ is more serviceable in fulfilling our awakening desire to communicate with him. When a person is in a church with masses of people, all the distractions are centred on the without. If that is right for the individual, so be it!

“When that individual is ready to undergo an awakening experience, it will always be in secret. It will be with the ‘still, small Voice of ‘God’ speaking to you from his within to yours.

“This communication will not be dependent on a person’s regular or occasional attendance in a mass gathering of souls for organised worship. The Damascus awakening event will happen when the Holy Spirit will take the individual away into a secret place.

“There that person is able to open up his heart and mind to the mystical experiences and revelations awaiting him. It is only done when the individual is on his/her own and in that private place that they can shut the door on all others. “In that private place alone, he can open the door to his inner being and the living Jesus will respond to his invitation. He will enter into loving, spiritual, joyous, uplifting and enlightening fellowship. It will then be realised that Jesus is a one to one person.

“That communication/experience can then be shared with those of like-minded readiness for such a sharing, those that have themselves encountered such experiences and therefore understand their worth.

“Meanwhile those mass gatherings in traditional church services will only ever experience without. They will miss out on the important spiritual experience.

“Jesus will be there in the midst of the congregation, loving and blessing them and administering to the sick and fainting spirits of men. But their focus will be too distracted by the choreography of the ritual. They will be unable to communicate with Jesus’ living presence.

“Only those, who are ready spiritually and are able to shut off from the distraction of the ritual, will be able to receive. Otherwise they will miss out on the blessings & enlightenment & the sharing of his mystical awareness that Jesus’ living presence brings.

“‘God’ and Jesus speak to us individually, because we are all individual and unique. None of us needs a priest to deliver to us what Jesus says, as it will always be collectively and not individually.

“This individuality is always important and above all it is always relevant. That is why one to one communication in the quiet private place becomes so necessary for our personal lives. It brings us that personal guidance to our own private lives.”

“The simplest thing is often the most beautiful creation and it is only when Man complicates it that it starts to lose its spiritual message.”

Finding Inner Peace and Strength

“Learn to find the light and inner peace, which is always within us! There is nothing worth having in this world without peace. With peace in your heart and your soul, you are rich beyond your imagination. The power of positive thinking has been proven by science.

“It has been proven that the mind is powerful in ways not always known to man. It is still a mystery that we are unravelling. Medically trained experts cannot deny the power of thought, which will determine how your life becomes.

“We can all create a personal hell in our minds, where it becomes so dark we can’t even crawl out of it. Even if we are in a palace or on a paradise island, we can still put ourselves into dark places with our thoughts. If we do not have peace in our minds, we have nothing!

“If we want to be happy, we first need to be able to live in harmony with ourselves, before we can be happy with anything or anyone else. We are all our own strength and have our own power, which we can choose to build up or trample all over it.

“No matter what happens in one’s life, even if we have hit rock bottom which all super-successful people have, we can begin again right now! You first need to be in harmony and peace with yourself before serving the world. Cover yourself with love whenever you breathe and not tension and stress.

“Know we are all worth it, as insecurities can no longer have a part of our lives. Now we become the positive mind. We must all come out of the darkness of insecurities and start to believe that we are mightier and stronger than we actually realise.

“Our paths always lead us to enlightenment and knowledge. Our futures are great because we believe them to be so and so they shall be!”

Where is the Desire for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth?

“In the case of spirituality, the Church of today is lukewarm. Their spirituality is miserable, wretched, poor and blind. This has happened because the Church has become institutionalised and the purpose of an institution is to perpetuate itself.

“This is where the original objectives of its leaders have become lost in a mire of rules & regulations, petty politics & power struggles. So now they merely perpetuate the institution rather than being motivated by the fire of spirituality.

“This is the desire of Jesus for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. This is never mentioned in today’s institutionalised churches. This is because issues such as the ordination of women and homosexuality have become the important concerns.

“The Church has become side-tracked in detail, instead of focussing on the Principles of Life as laid down by Jesus. It is the Principles of Life, which keep souls on Earth on their right path that is the path of spiritual progress.

“The same has happened to other institutions of today. Government, education, the National Health Service and the social services have all lost their way. These institutions and regulations get in the way and cloud their original vision.

“The statement by Jesus to the Pharisees that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath is true. Because man must abide by the rules of these institutions, then common-sense and compassion has no place anymore.

“Compassion is one of the greatest gifts of the Spirit in humanity. We must all look out for individual cases and situations to decide on their individual merit.

“Otherwise we are creating a compassionless society, at least in terms of these institutions that hold dominion over much of our lives. Compassion at the individual personal level is still there and can never be extinguished. This is because each of us is love and compassion cannot be separated from love.

“If more compassion was brought into institutions, this would be a giant step towards instilling the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Imagine a scenario in which there are two Jesuses travelling around Judea, Samaria and Galilee teaching and healing.

“The first Jesus, working with compassion, goes around the multitudes and heals them of every sickness and disease. After a long day, his disciples want Jesus to send the others away, so that they can eat and rest.

“Jesus says, “No, I will feed them.” “With love and compassion, Jesus transforms the picnic of two loaves and five fishes and feeds the five thousand souls.

“The second Jesus moves among the multitudes healing as many as come forward. Hours go by and it is getting late. Jesus is eager to conclude this tiresome business and tells the people they must now go home. He has finished for the day and since there is only so much one can do in a day!

“The first is the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth scenario. The second is more of how it is with society today that we are creating in our institutionalised world. We fail to see the opportunities that Jesus gives us in our daily lives, because we haven’t the time, compassion, desire or the will.

“So many claim to be Jesus’ followers by going to church every week, but not applying the desires of Jesus’ teachings in their daily lives. Many people are in need of reassurance, encouragement, a friendly smile, a caring word even just to be noticed!”

“The institutionalised churches have lost their way & as a result their flocks, due to their own purpose to promote the Church at all costs!”

Is a Nuclear-Free-Zone in the Middle East No Longer a Dream?

“President Obama’s speech on 6^th August marks a historic turning point in US relationships with Israel. It was made at the American University in Washington DC and this setting was chosen deliberately for this debate. John Kennedy dealt with a similar call on a deal regarding nuclear discussions with Iran more than a half century ago.

“The dispute over Iran has opened up a chasm separating the strategic events adopted by the US from those of Israel. They show no sign narrowing. Obama has declared that Israel is alone and isolated in its official opposition to the American-Iranian rapprochement.

“President Obama has stated that this is the strongest non-proliferation agreement ever negotiated. Because it’s such a strong deal, every nation in the world has commented on it publicly & given their support, except the Israeli Government.

“Netanyahu is directing an overcharged campaign inciting Congress to oppose the President and scuttle the agreement with Iran. Netanyahu is doing this at a time when the deal has been unanimously endorsed in the United Nations Security Council.

“In June of 1967, when Egypt was defeated in the six day war, the US supplied Israel with F-4 phantoms. They were the most advanced aircrafts in the western arsenal.

“In return for America’s commitment to maintain Israel’s superiority over any regional threat Israel had to promise to keep its nuclear bombs, now more than 200, ready “in the basement”.

“Israel’s nuclear bombs have remained there for decades. Netanyahu continues to maintain his aggressive campaign to permanently limit sanctions and to ostracise Iran. Netanyahu cannot continue to prevent Iran’s nuclear programme, while still establishing his own nuclear regional security.

“Obama’s support to the Iranian deal has affected Tehran’s nuclear doctrine for the better, it also affects Israel’s nuclear outcome. As the deal with Iran continues, so international challenges to Israel’s undeclared nuclear arsenal and capability comes into effect.

“There will be calls for a nuclear-weapons-free zone in the Middle East, which will be expected with greater inference than ever before. Many will quite rightly say it is time to take Israel’s bombs “out of the basement”.

“President Obama and his US leadership with his promotion to diplomacy over armed conflict is a deal which will improve Israel’s security. Barack Obama may now be tempted to apply this same strategy to Israel’s long stalemated conflict with Palestine.

“These problems with America and Israel are only just beginning. We have already predicted some time ago that Israel will continue to be isolated and ostracised.

“This is already happening and will continue unabated until reason prevails. The more Israel battles against doing what is right, the more its people will suffer because of the intransigence of their Government.”

How sanctions affect both East and West

“The ongoing financial crisis in Russia is the result of International sanctions. These were imposed on Russia following their annexation of the Crimea and their military intervention in the Ukraine. President Putin’s hard-line attitude and bullying tactics are causing suffering to all the Russia people.

“Vladimir Putin has no care for them as he continues to rule them with an iron fist. This crisis has affected the Russian economy, consumers and companies as well as the regional financial markets. They also affect Putin’s ambitions regarding the European Economic Union.

“The EU has banned any trade in arms and the US prohibited transactions with Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corporation. This is classified as a defence company. The EU and the US have also banned their technologies to Russia’s very deep water, Artic and shale oil drilling. The EU, which does far more trade with Russia, will review this again in three months’ time.

“Russia has called the new sanctions destructive and short-sighted. The Ukraine hosts the design on military transport planes. The economic freeze has blocked plans to deliver the new heavy transport plane. Russia has stopped producing its own transport plane and has closed down a space rocket programme.

“Project 22350 frigates did not arrive, because Ukraine did not deliver the turbines for them. Russia has a large arms trade with France. These included the purchasing of two Mistral warships together with thermal imagery devices and electronics for its Su-30 fighter jets. This order has been cancelled.

“Replacing many foreign sourced components is a sheer impossibility, as 90% of defence industry’s electronics are produced in the West. Russia was already near a recession before the Crimea Crisis and now Russia ranks low in the World Economic Forum’s rankings.

“It already has low road qualities, problems with technological adaptation and a burden of Government regulation. Russia’s weak economy cannot withstand the challenges of low oil prices and International sanctions. The price of oil hit Russia hard when oil fell from $100 per barrel to $60 per barrel in December 2014.

“Russia depends on oil and gas production for half of its Government’s revenue. The ongoing financial crisis in Russia is the result of the falling rouble, which began in the second half of 2014. This caused investors to sell off Russian assets, which further led to the decline of the rouble.

“To get rid of the failing rouble Russians have been exchanging roubles for US dollars or euros. Prices of goods, including beef and fish, rose to 40-50%, as Putin has banned western imports. Even the state owned gas company Gazprom has lost 86% of its net income because of the rouble devaluation.

“This financial crisis in Russia has affected other global financial markets. The US Ford Motor Company has experienced a 40% decline in sales. Germany’s Volkswagen has had a 20% decline in sales to Russia.

“BP has lost 17% of market shares and a joint French company dealing in shale exploration with Russia has been shelved. Adidas has closed down their stores in Russia and McDonalds also lost twelve stores there.

“Many of Israel’s one million Jewish immigrants from the Soviet Union have business ties with Russia and are affected by this crisis. This goes to show you in this global world of ours that we are all either directly or indirectly involved with one another.

“No country is isolated or self-sufficient and it affects us when a dictator goes rogue for reasons of selfish pomposity and aggrandisement. He has not earned it, but feels it is his right to have over and above the suffering of his own people.

“It is then that the world will continue to stand against him. The International communities can withstand these sanctions. But how long before the Russian people stand up and do something about it?”

The American Armadillos Are Fighting Back

“This could only happen in America, armadillos are fighting back without even knowing about it! A man from Texas has been wounded after a bullet he fired at an armadillo ricocheted and hit him in the head.

“The shooting took place in east Texas, when the shooter fired three bullets at an armadillo. One of those bullets ricocheted and hit him in the jaw. The man is being treated for minor injury. The armadillo was nowhere to be found.

“This is not the first time in recent months that an armadillo deflected bullets, which ended up wounding a human being. A man in Georgia, USA, injured his mother-in-law when a bullet he fired ricocheted off the armadillo.

“The bullet went from the armadillo through a fence and then through the backdoor of his mother-in-law’s mobile home. Then it went through the recliner chair that she was sitting in and into her back. One just couldn’t believe the stupidity of the incident if it didn’t happen with guns in America.

“This is the result of too many guns in the wrong hands. Of course Americans have a right to fire weapons when they feel threatened. The armadillos of course have no say in the matter!”
