June Newsletter 2014

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is never easy when one does not see or sense remorse in the perpetrator’s eyes.

Yet to be above them in moral judgement we need to think first, could it have been any of us in that person’s place when the deed was committed.

The crimes might be those of abuse from one to another, yet it is the harshness of the crime, which is where we all must look and learn.  To see if we also had a hand in that crime to a lesser extent and, if so, do we not warrant forgiveness when the time is right?

Many people do not actually do the crime themselves, but are equally guilty by their complicit actions by not preventing it when they had the chance to do so.  We often say we were not involved or we knew it was happening, but chose to turn a blind eye.

This is more often the case when we actively know abuse is taking place, yet we chose to do nothing, hoping it would all go away and we won’t be asked to take action in its prevention.

When the full realisation comes in that we were complicit in the crime, then we have to search our own feelings and ask for forgiveness and begin to show genuine remorse.

If not, then we can’t expect to be forgiven.  We become as guilty as the perpetrator who committed the crime.

When will we start to learn that we all must take personal responsibility and, when we see a wrong being committed, we must do the right thing and go to that person’s defence.

It is when we all stand together that crimes will have no place in our society, because society will not tolerate these conditions, so we begin to breed a better, more robust and healthy society, where care and attention is given to all and collectively we can all take part in building a safe and healthy society, where all gain and where forgiveness is not required.

“If we have the right intentions in our hearts and minds only goodness can come into our lives.  It is the fears that we create within us that make us wary and so often we are weak enough to fall.”

It All Went Up in Smoke
“A major anti-drug police operation in Albania has been successful. Police have netted more than 25 tonnes of marijuana. The village of Lazarat is now under their control. It took 800 officers, who were engaged in a five-day operation, with many under fire from heavily armed locals.
“This small village is believed to be Europe’s biggest illegal producer of marijuana.     It has been producing around 900 tonnes of marijuana annually worth 4.5bn euros. This is the equivalent to almost half of Albania’s gross domestic product. State police destroyed the 20 year old taboo of a crime zone.
“They destroyed 25 tonnes of marijuana and over 90,000 cannabis plants, together with four drug processing laboratories. Many of the gang leaders escaped, but will soon be captured as they will be informed on by those who have been imprisoned.
“The unbreakable village of Lazarat is no more. Sadly it has taken a new Government campaign to stamp out the marijuana economy in its bid to become part of the EU. Albania is Europe’s leading marijuana producer, despite efforts in the past to clamp down on its activities.
“It is times like this when criminal activities are eventually closed down & the disruptive forces that hold a country to ransom are no more. To do what is right is not only for the people, but for the country at large. These criminal activities show that the country has no care towards decency for its people.
“Italy has to contend with the Mafia, literally sucking the lifeblood from its citizens and its economy. The rest of the world can have no respect while the Mafia call the shots & the amount of corruption is above anything that’s good and decent. The Italian people are forever stained by these criminal elements and so it is with the Albanians.
“They are equally stained by their criminal ways and decency is not allowed to flourish and grow. It is the few who dictate to the masses and all are let down by these tyrannical dictates. In the end none prosper, because by Spiritual Law what is not born out of decency can never flourish and grow.
“It should be up to the industrious people of Albania to grow food for its people. Then they can begin to export allowing free trade and honesty to flourish.”

“A soft touch from a light hand speaks volumes to the receiver as it allows the energies of love to flow, but a heavy hand kills the goodness of everything it touches.”

The Unsung Heroes that Save the Lives of so Many
“The generosity of Mankind towards another is sometimes overlooked.  Many have been saved by Air-Sea Rescue and the Lifeboat people. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) saves lives at sea. Volunteers provide a 24 hour search and rescue in the UK and Republic of Ireland. These volunteers include 4,600 lifeboat crew and 3,000 volunteer shore crew.
“As many as 24 rescues occur each day and many risk their own lives in saving others. A freak accident involving a father and his son could have ended in tragedy when both father and son were thrown overboard into the sea. The Mayday distress signal was sent out and the men were carried away from their boat by the tide. They were rescued by the RNLI and both father and son were treated for shock and first aid was given.
“Another tragedy occurred when a speed boat went out of control throwing a family of six overboard. The driver who was ejected from the boat did not have the kill cord in his hand to operate the engine to stop. It continued to circle out of control and ran over members of the family a number of times.
“The father and his eight year old daughter were killed and the rest of the family suffered injuries and the mother lost her leg. The quick thinking of Mr Toogood, a water-skiing instructor, leapt into the speed boat. He was able to stop the boat’s engine from causing further harm.
“The emergency services do an outstanding job with both lifeboats and helicopters in full assistance in the rescue. Six French fishermen were rescued off the Cornish coast in a joint operation with lifeboat men and helicopters from RNAS Culdrose. The crew had to abandon ship as huge waves struck them in gale force winds. All six were safely brought to shore.
“It was a difficult rescue and much credit goes to the outstanding bravery of the RNLI and the winch man on the helicopter. These people are special, as they jump to the challenge of helping others with a selfless attitude to do what they feel is right. They save the lives of so many.
“We are grateful for their dedication, for without them many would die and be at the mercy of the seas in dangerous as well as calm times. They are the unsung heroes. We all owe them a debt of gratitude for their selfless acts of bravery. These search & rescue men are called up to face intolerable tasks with compassion & sensitivity.”

“Let the wind blow and let the rain fall, because they are natural gifts and both play a part in keeping this world clean and sustainable, so we shouldn’t moan if it doesn’t suit us today!”

Why Aren’t Our Precious Children Protected from this Disgusting Perversion?
“The Internet trade in images that show child sex abuse is now at epidemic proportions. This is according to the head of the global initiative to combat the problem. Police officers from around the world serve on the Virtual Global Taskforce.
“There has been an explosion in cases handled by the US authorities. The US alone has 61 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) units. Each of these units is made up of state, local police and federal agents.
“Lt Andrea Grossman from the Los Angeles Police Department has conducted these operations three to five times a week. The amount of images of child sexual abuse which is on the Internet, Lt Grossman said, is beyond their control.
“Earlier this year Lt Grossman and colleagues were in London training 100 British detectives from across the UK. They have taught them the advance techniques for tracking suspects online and gathering evidence. This cooperation between the US and the UK has now led to some high profiled arrests.
“There has to come a time when the Internet giants start to close down these operations of this disgusting perversion. The victims which are the children, some as young as six years old, are scarred for life – many will go on to become paedophiles themselves, as it is a life which many will only know and by learnt behaviour will think it is right.
“What a sick global society we are rearing. There needs to be a more robust solution to safeguard the innocent and to expose the guilty. These sick minds need institutional therapy and for a long time or they will reoffend again.
‘Paedophiles are extremely manipulative people and will stop at nothing to satisfy their lust for children and their control over them. Parents must be more diligent in protecting their children and to observe the signs when they appear. These are seen as being morose, crying and wanting to withdraw from society.
“Our children are the most precious souls we have and we need to protect them from these sick minded people.”

“Something wonderful is always around the corner and if you look for it you can recognise it when you find it.  However if you don’t look, how are you ever going to see wonderful things?”

Don’t Let Them Get Away With It
“As the world approaches another impasse in human development, it appears that Mankind will not listen to reason. Mankind is hell-bent on doing what is right for the individual and not what is right for all concerned. Until Mankind starts collectively to address the many issues that are causing worldwide concern, it will fall into the abyss of nothingness. All will become a lethargic wasteland of incompetence and fear.
“We must stand up and be counted and to see the bigger picture that we are all in together. The name blame is always handed out as the easy option. It is high time we all look at out our own personal responsibilities and to start putting matters right. Until we all wake up to this fact, the human concept will slowly decline.
“At this moment the distrust in family situations is at the lowest level of human disaster. Families are torn apart because one or two people act in an irresponsible fashion. Its effects are to virtually destroy the rest of the family around them.
“Those damage souls find it difficult to live and surviving on a daily basis is hell on earth for them to bear. Yet bear it they must, otherwise the alternative can be too daunting to contemplate. Until we stand up to those who bully us & destroy our peaceful existence for their own personal gain we are complicit in our own destruction. This cannot be allowed to happen.
“So it is that the Higher Intelligence is now bringing about a form of realisation to all those who will listen. They must start to change the status quo so that we can allow ourselves to become liberated from these manipulative people.
“It is their aim to set their own agenda by bringing us to serve them! We are all entitled to live in harmony. In order for that to happen we have to stand up to these malevolent beings for our own sake otherwise we are all lost!”

“Let others see you as you really are and not as you wish them to think that you are.  Putting up a screen around your reality never works, as you will be caught out like the liar who forgets what he has said.”

To End Sexual Violence in Conflict
“A conference is being held in London, which is discussing holding Governments to account on ending sexual violence in war zones. Angelina Jolie, who is the UN special envoy, said a new international protocol represents the ‘beginning of the fight’ against this practice.
“The protocol means that Governments in war zones could no longer say they didn’t know how to tackle this issue. Angelina Jolie said, “Women around the world are ‘united in this fight together.’”
“To End Sexual Violence in Conflict global summit brings representatives together from around the world. As many as a 100 countries are represented. This conference is to create ‘irreversible momentum against sexual violence in conflict’.
“The reason for this conference is to highlight the pain and suffering of so many, who have been abused in this way. A nine year old girl in Uganda was kidnapped and forced into sexual slavery. The man in Bosnia years after his rape is still stigmatised, unable to earn enough money to buy bread for his family.
“The hidden survivors have been made to feel ashamed or abandoned.  Of the children born out of the rape situation, the whole world needs to hear their stories. The world has to understand that injustice cannot be tolerated and that sorrow and compassion are no longer enough.
“There are too many brutal and violent operations happening in this world. Man’s inhumanity to Man is where none will get away with it, either in this life of the next.
“All will have to stand up and be counted by their actions and the penalties in the next life are long and arduous. As many who have communicated from the other side of life have already stipulated, nobody gets away with anything. All is known and dealt with according to their crimes.”

“Wait for the moment to come when you are in charge of your life and through Spiritual Law can see the road ahead that plainly guides you to your Promised Land of Goodness.”

Swimming with the Tide is Much Easier
“To make amends for one’s dreadful deeds is never easy and requires great strength and purpose of mind to do what is right by today’s laws. One has to put aside the ego and to bring enlightenment back into a sorrowful and sometimes damaged soul.
“It takes time to begin to see that to keep swimming against the tide of righteousness is to have a very hard and difficult life. All the obstacles that one has to face become more severe with each passing day. When wisdom is finally reached then swimming with the tide is much easier and life becomes happy and peaceful again.”
8th June 2014 (jandmayers and ladylydialondon twitter)

“Take a firm grip on your problems and ask for help in solving them.  There is a cool voice of reason with you that tells you what to do or at least where to go to find the answers.”

Innocent Babies and Young Children Denied Baptism and Christian Burial
“The Irish Government will take out an inquiry after the remains of nearly 800 children were discovered. The remains were found in an unmarked grave at the former home for unmarried mothers, which was run by the Catholic Church.
“The remains were interred in a concrete septic tank in the grounds of the home in Tuam, County Galway. The children were between two days old and nine years old. They died between 1925 and 1961.
“Historian Catherine Corless found that the register of deaths and burials did not match in the town. When she inquired about the records of the children who died at the home, she was told there were no records. She was shocked, as the children and toddlers were buried in one mass grave that they found on the site.
“The Catholic Church has recently come under huge criticism for the abuse and neglect of children under their care. These are just some of the continuing shocking incidents that are being revealed about the Catholic Church.
“Their murky past will continue to come to the surface until they cleanse themselves of these horrendous activities. They are so adamant that they must hide them from the public.
“Spiritual Law states that nothing is hidden and, at the appointed time, all will be revealed. One cannot naively hide from the Higher Intelligence, which sees all. Even the Church should have realised that or did they think that God was on their side for all these atrocities.
“The home at Tuam was one of ten institutions in which 35,000 unmarried pregnant women were thought to have been sent. They were the so-called fallen women. The children born to these women were denied baptism and were segregated from others at school. If these children died in these facilities, they were denied a Christian burial.
“As with all things, it takes two to make a baby, yet it is always the women who pay the price. The men always get away scot-free. Nothing is ever done to them. Where is that justice in this loveless land of Ireland?
“The fact that there was no baptism for their babies meant that in the women’s eyes their children were doomed to hell. Of course we all know that hell does not exist, so it won’t have happened to these innocent babies.
“Yet for those who do believe in this hypothesis, it is a cruel suffering that those mothers would have endured, even up to present day. With not granting the innocent babies a Christian burial, it goes to show the heartless people that the Catholic Church really is.
“They purport to be Christian and loving. They are nothing but hypocrites, as all this exposure to their faults is now coming to light. More exposure of the Catholic Church’s filth will emerge. This is but the tip of the iceberg.”

May Newsletter 2014

“Live in Love It Is the Only Way to Live!”

To be loved by someone and to be able to return that love unconditionally is the greatest love that one can ever receive.

For those of us who have such a love, our lives are enhanced and enriched in so many ways.  For one thing we feel well in mind, body and spirit and our whole outlook becomes different.  Our bodies are energised and we have a spring in our step, which makes us feel lighter and not held down by earthly negative vibrations and disappointments.

We are able to deal with life’s difficulties with a greater understanding and compassion and our minds are filled with doing good deeds for all those around us.

Nothing is of any trouble for it is the more we love and the more we give, so we are replenished with it every day.  All automatically is returned to us, by Spiritual Law nothing is ever denied, as in giving so we are receiving all the time.

It is the loving of humanity with all its strange ways and turns that we are able to develop an understanding of ourselves. We, who are not perfect, but we are able to strive for a better life once we decide we wish to live in the state of continuous love and not hate or deceit.

By the very efforts of our mind, it strengthens us to do more and to strive to achieve a better life, not only for ourselves, but for those around us whose lives are not so blessed as ours.

It is primarily the love that is within all of us that needs to be exercised every day, so that our kindness and loving spirit will enhance so many around us and allow them to also strive in the right way.

There is too much hate in this world and that breeds another type of destructive force and that negativity can in the long run destroy what is so good and decent in all of us.

None of us can afford to go down that negative spiral and so we must remain constantly vigilant as to our purpose in this life.  To maintain a spirit of love and then tranquillity and peace of mind is forever ours.

To live in this state of unconditional love for most of us is not difficult.  There are of course those who go down the selfish route.  For them, they will always be dissatisfied and grumpy that their lives are not going in the way that they wish them to be.

What is happening here is that they are swimming against the Spiritual Tide of Human Emotion, where goodness is the right way to be and selfishness is not.  So for those who continue down that selfish road, go against the tide of human development and so will have to encounter every boulder and obstacle that comes their way, which are plenty indeed.

That is why they can never win and will never learn that to be selfish will never give them an easy life, as it goes against the tide of what is right and decent for all.

Over time the full realisation comes to all those individuals, if not in this life then in the next, where the lessons to learn about this are more severe and where the act of turning is made harder, as the lessons need to be learnt to make a proper impression.

When a wrong has been done there can never be any kind of gain.  However, when good is done in a loving way, then all good things are always given and life becomes easier by the day.  There is no hardship, as one learns to swim with the Spiritual Tide of Life and so one is automatically carried by loving arms of all those who steer our lives anyway.

As with unconditional love we are always secure, always protected and much peace and satisfaction is afforded to us all.

Live in love it is the only way to live!

“Taking up the staff of friendship is always a worthy cause, but some people find it difficult to make new relationships work, so we need to be mindful of their concerns.”

Why Russian Troops Left Ukraine’s Borders
“As predicted yesterday, there is an announcement by President Putin to withdraw his military forces from near the Ukraine border. The Kremlin is having internal wrangling, which is causing problems within the power struggle that is going on there.
“It will be some time before a proper adjustment is maintained that will support a common ground. International pressure is putting the Kremlin in an awkward place.
“What they want to do and what is ideally possible are two very different things. It is this that is causing the rifts in policies, which were not there before. They will have no choice but to back down, but will still bear their teeth nevertheless. All will now be about saving face, which is more important for the Kremlin to do at home than abroad.”
19th May 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“Why do we always seem to be looking back and feeling that we could have done better?  Sometimes we fail to engage our mind-set before we speak and then we say rash words and, too late, we regret it.”

Russia Will Have to Back Down in Ukraine
“Ukraine battles to keep control of its regions, but there will be a severe battle before negotiations on a different level can be achieved. The country is now heading towards anarchy with both sides vying up the opposition. Both think they are right and will be able to overthrow the other.
“Both will be greatly mistaken, as the new found factions will not be able to work. Even with Russian activists trying to stir up trouble for the opposition forces, there will be no concluding solutions. Russia, which is under enormous financial pressure, will have to back down.
“How it backs down will be by a series of agreements which will suit nobody. However it will allow for a breathing space to occur before a greater long-term solution is found. All the Ukrainian people, and it doesn’t matter which side of the fence they are on, will regret the eventual split up of their country.
“Nothing will benefit any of them and this will only be seen in time. People must accept that they have differences of opinions, yet have a common nationality. This should be preserved for all prosperity and a richer more vibrant nation can be formed for the good of all.”
18th May 2014 (jandmayers twitter and ladylydialondon)

“There are reasons for illness that the medical profession don’t understand, but then they don’t understand the attitude of the mind that makes the physical dependant on its attitude to wellbeing and good living.”

Politicians Need To Reflect All and Not Just the Chosen Few

“Many people feel disenfranchised by their own Governments. They feel it is more jobs for the boys & many decent people who have their hearts set on representing the people never seem to get a look in.
“Working in politics is never easy and it is very much a question of who you know who can help you to get in. What should be asked is, “Who is the right person to take on the job in the first place?”
“Until government officials start to engage more with the general public you will continue to have this divide of mistrust and frustration. There needs to be more effective governing and more people elected from the lower social strata. Then they can make effective criticism. This way the cries of the people are heard.
“Many of the elite in politics have no concept what it is like to be on the poverty line. Never in a decade will they know the effect both physically and mentally to the body and the very soul of these people. If they did, they truly would be humbled and would try more substantially to reduce the suffering to so many.
“It is only when we suffer that can we actually relate to those who suffer daily and where for many there is no hope or relief. Politicians now need to look at their jobs and not consider it as a cushy number. They must realise that people have emotions and fears that are real.
“They do not fit a pattern or a statistic and are not just a number. They are people and all are different and should be treated with compassion and respect. Politicians should reflect all parts of society and not just a chosen few, if they want to have successful governing the world over.”

“Smile and the world can see your happiness.  It is infectious, so the more you smile the greater the happiness that you spread.  A grumpy face makes a very dull world!”

Justice Sometimes Takes Time to Come In
“German Nazi-era art hoarder Cornelius Gurlitt, who died on Tuesday, has made the Bern Art Museum in Switzerland his ‘sole heir’. He is the son of Adolf Hitler’s art dealer and he had amassed a collection worth up to a billion euros. The museum said the news had struck ‘like a bolt from the blue’, as they had no relationship with Mr Gurlitt.
“The art collection has been the subject of a long legal dispute over the works that may have been taken illegally by the Nazis. The Bern Art Museum said it was delighted at the news that they had become the unrestricted and unfettered sole heir.
“Mr Gurlitt’s father Hildebrand Gurlitt was ordered to deal in works of art that had been seized from the Jews. He also dealt with art that had been removed from German museums.
“The priceless collection had been confiscated by the Bavarian authorities from the son’s apartment in 2012. The Bern Art Museum now gets ownership of the collection through the lawyers of Cornelius Gurlitt. They indicate that the paintings shown to be looted should return to present day heirs of the victims – an arrangement that still stands.
“There will be no argument over the works of art acquired by Mr Gurlitt’s father before the Nazi’s came to power, so they can go to Bern. For those paintings which are in dispute, the authorities give potential claimants a year to come forward.
“This will at last be justice for those who legally owned these works of art and who can now rightfully claim them.     It will also allow for the rest of the art collection to be viewed again and appreciated by the public in a very prestigious art museum.
“Justice sometimes takes time to come in. What may at times seem like an eternity and all appears lost, then turns around and the right thing is done Justice on so many levels is now finally being dealt with by the Higher Intelligence and where at last peace of mind is received.”

“Make a good fist of it and know that you have done your best.  Nobody can ask more of you than that, so always do your best and then you cannot reproach yourself afterwards.”

Why starvation will replace wars as the single most destructive force to hit humanity.
“Rising levels of CO2 around the world will significantly impact on the nutrient content of crops around the world. Experiments show levels of zinc, iron and protein are likely to be reduced by up to 10% in wheat and rice by 2050. This would have serious health implications for billions of people, especially in the developing world.
“Now an international team has put together a global analysis based on experiments in Japan, Australia and the US. They have grown 41 different varieties of grains and legumes in open fields with levels of carbon dioxide expected in the middle of this century.
“The trials have found that the reduction of iron, zinc and protein in rice and wheat will have major health implications. A third of the global populations are already suffering from iron and zinc shortages. This leads to some 63 million life years being lost annually.
“It is known that 2bn people already get 70% of their iron and zinc from these grains and legumes. So with crops reducing in nutrients, this will make for alarming deficiencies. What the scientists are now looking at is a breeding programme to produce rice that becomes less sensitive to CO2.
“The impact of carbon on nutrient levels is another blow to global food production. Due to the rising temperatures globally, crop yields are already suffering. This means that the production of maize, wheat and rice will go down over the course of this century.
“We owe it to our children and their children after them.  Global warming needs to be our first priority. We must save people – not only now, but in the future. We can no longer place our heads in the sand and ignore it. Starvation will replace wars as the single most destructive force to hit humanity!”

“Look out for the good things that occur every day in your life and give thanks for them.  If you don’t notice them and simply regard it as good luck, then why should the spirits help you?”

All Life Is Precious and Is a Gift to Enjoy
“The beauty of life surrounds us all the time when we make the time to enjoy it and to appreciate the goodness of nature in all its finery. For many, spring is the greatest time of the year when all of nature is buzzing with activity. From the winter slumber, new life is created and everything becomes fast acting and positive.
“New life in the animal world is both exciting and enchanting. The newly born animals and birds give us so much pleasure and make us realise that life really is worth living.
“For those who live in the country, this time of the year is especially beautiful and we praise God’s handiwork all around us. We are truly blessed in so many ways.
“The various abundance of colours and scent that come from the blooms of plants, make us feel good. Life is really worth living after all and we shouldn’t take anything for granted.
“All life is precious and we need to stop and take time to see what is so glorious around us Take in all that God has created for our pleasure as we cohabit with nature and work together to help create a better world.”
3rd May 2014 (jandmayers and ladylydialondon twitter)

“See your life turn around, as you do good things so goodness comes to you.  It is a simple formula, which always works, but it is Man who makes things complicated!”

Take a Step Back and Rest We Are Not Robotic
“Many of us rush around each day to see how much we can fit in in a given time and wonder why we feel so exhausted and unwell. We often hear the words ‘I am shattered’ or ‘I’m so exhausted, I don’t know what to do with myself.’ We must now start to realise that although the world works at such a fast pace we don’t necessarily need to meet those demands all the time.
“We can actually give ourselves permission to take a step back and rest, so that our bodies can catch up with our minds. If we let it, life can consume us and we find we are only on the treadmill of life and not living life as we should.
“It is high time we started being good to ourselves and started to understand we are not robotic. That time out is essential to recharge our batteries, so that we are able to achieve again on other days.
“All of us need that mental break, so the physical is able to catch up and heal where necessary. We owe it to ourselves to love ourselves and to know we are all worth it – for tomorrow is another day.
“Cherish what you do, but never lose sight of rest and recuperation. It is a vital cog to our survival if we are to continue achieving in our own life.”

“The Takers Have Taken Long Enough”

What is so sad today is the lack of respect from so many to those whose lives they depend on to help them, yet consideration for them is not forth coming.

The changes that are happening on a vibrational level will now oust out all whose idea is to simply take and not give in the true sense of the word.  Many will find themselves now out in the wilderness with only themselves to blame and where they will be passed over for those whose gratefulness is genuine and where real appreciation is forth coming.

No more will the generous hearted soul be taken for granted or even used anymore.  That tide is now turning in a massive way to the needs of those who do give generously.  They will find they are rewarded beyond their wildest dreams.

For them, life takes on a different veil of expectancy and where their good works are clearly rewarded for all time.  They will be able to enjoy great feats of success, as they once again begin to believe in themselves and their worth.

No longer will they be a slave to the ungracious.  They are being moved on and their tasks will allow them a better way to live and to be appreciated by those whose own lives had been taunted by the selfish and the uncaring.

There now is a different philosophy where one has to earn the right to be treated with respect by the givers of this world and no longer can they take it for granted.

The world is now turning upside down and those who were tolerated for their misdeeds will see themselves alone and no longer accepted.

They have brought about unhappiness and pain by their actions and they must be seen for what they are and be left alone to their own devices, which will be sadly lacking.

Forgiveness comes in at a very high price and will not be easily given.  It is only rewarded by efforts of goodwill and where a generous nature is acknowledged, not just for a period of a short time, but for all time if they are to reap any rewards at all.

Meanwhile, those whose caring hearts are always at the forefront of their lives, will see great changes happen to them and where the rewards are always constant.  Theirs has been a lifetime of giving and so much appreciation is afforded to them always.

“We must be grateful for what we have and not moan for what we want.  The Higher Intelligence knows what we can safely deal with, so we must earn enough respect to receive what we may wish for silently.”

An Exceptional Female Voice
“In the world today it is refreshing to hear of something worthwhile and sobering. Mexican writer and journalist Elena Poniatowska has received the most important award for literature in the Spanish language.
“The Cervantes Prize was presented to Elena by King Juan Carlos of Spain in a ceremony in the town of Alcala de Henares. It is the birth place of Miguel de Cervantes.
“Elena, who is 81, is only the fourth woman to be awarded this prize in its four decades-long history. Her writings explore the social injustices of Mexico. One of her most famous investigative works is ‘Massacre in Mexico’, which chronicles the 1968 killings. There, hundreds of student protesters in Mexico City were brutally killed at the hands of the military.
“Another of her famous pieces a non-fiction work, ‘Nothing, Nobody: The Voices of the Mexico City Earthquake’. Here she reported on the aftermath of the 1985 quake. More than 10,000 people died and there was lack of action by the Government. Interspersing victims’ personal stories and her own reflections she has created a powerful account. Her account describes the ensuing disintegration of the fabric of society.
“Many of her works have focused on roles of Mexican women, especially in their history, ‘Women of the Mexican Revolution’, which traces the story of women soldiers through photographs and text.
“In Elena’s acceptance speech she recalled the nation’s less fortunate people and the continuing struggle of its women. She is an amazing woman and is an inspiration to many Mexican women, who see her as the voice piece where so many do not have a voice. Her sensibility is like a breath of fresh air.
“The Mexican Government should take note and learn from this distinguished writer and journalist. There should be many more female voices, but like all greats this one is exceptional.”

“If everybody you love loved you, then life would be a dream.  So do your best to spread unconditional love and see the returns that you have earned by your love bringing happiness and fulfilment.”

The Tide of Women’s Rights is Turning

“In Iran they are marking Women’s Day and Mr Rouhani has urged equal opportunities and rights for both men and women. He has criticised those who consider women’s presence in society as a threat. He further said Iran has a long way to go to ensure gender equality.
“Foreign activist groups argue that Iran’s laws discriminate against women. Yet Rouhani still maintains that he will not accept the culture of sexual discrimination against women. Women must enjoy equal opportunity, equal protection and equal social rights, all this he said on Iranian television.
“Yet Iran’s Supreme leader, the highest authority in the land, states that he did not oppose women’s employment, but it should not conflict with their main issue, which was women’s role in the family environment and the household, even though, women in Iran have served as lawmakers in Parliament.
“In 2012, several Iranian universities introduced rules banning female students from nearly 80 degree courses. They are drawing criticism from campaigners. A human rights group Amnesty International said in its 2013 report that Iranian women faced discrimination.
“This is in law and practice with relation to marriage and divorce. Also their inheritance rights were not observed together with child custody and nationality and international travel.
“In May 2013, a constitutional body in Iran ruled that women could not run in Presidential elections all in all, women should know their place, which is in the home where they can be of no harm to men. It is men who seek to maintain the upper hand in Iranian life.
“They are truly afraid of women to install such draconian methods to keep them subservient in this day and age. But women the entire world over are starting to fight back with every means at their disposal. Men will need to think very carefully if they wish to continue in this selfish way.
“More women are becoming independent and they will no longer tolerate these rulings by men. The Internet is a powerful tool and women are now uniting in a common theme of united power and support, which is growing daily.
“Iran will need to come into the 21st century whether it likes it or not. There are subtle ways in which women do win and this is happening all the time. They have after all right on their side and justice will be done whether men accept it or not. The tide is turning and can never be stopped!”

“This is the most important time of your life.  It is the now that you are in.  The past is done with and you are shaping your future today, so get it right and heed all your inner self can help you with – you know it makes sense!”

Bail Out or Bail In?

“MEP’s have backed rules for a banking safety net to minimise the risk of further taxpayer-funded bailouts. It is now necessary for a European authority to be able to wind up or restructure failing banks.
“The EU banking union reforms will create contingency funds of $76bn by bank levies so that the cash can be injected before the bank actually fails, which is what happened in Cyprus and Greece.
“They had to be bailed out with taxpayers’ money. This is at least a step in the right direction. This new legislation comes in to safeguard banks doing their own irresponsible thing by running amok.
“Unfortunately the Eurozone still does not have credible backstops to deal with a major systemic failure like the 2008 financial crash, but matters are now in place to stem this tide of deceit and appalling banking practice.
“It is up to the European Central Bank to put safeguards in to protect the taxpayer, who is always at the brunt of bad practice. This package of banking reforms enshrines in binding rules the principle of bail-in, so that shareholders and creditors pay for their banks mistakes and not the taxpayers.
“There will be more reforms, as has already been predicted by myself previously. Gradually an iron tight fence of laws will be implemented and the banking system will never be the same again!”

“Starting as you mean to go on is a good thought, but adjustments have to be made along the way or no progress can be made.  It is no use being blind to the better way of being”

Remember Those who Report for You
“The Guardian & Washington Post have shared the Pulitzer Prize for public service journalism for a series of stories on US electronic spying. Their reporting was based on documents leaked by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
“Among other winners of the top prize in US journalism was the Boston Globe for breaking news reporting. Also two staff writers of Reuters news agency were awarded the prize for international reporting.
“In the case of the Guardian newspaper their reporting sparked off a debate about the relationships between Government and the public over issues of security and privacy. Their publications were both authoritative and insightful.
“This helped the public understand where the disclosures fit in the larger framework of national security. Mr Snowden himself has said the Guardian’s award is a vindication for everyone who believes that the public has a role in Government.
“Josh Haner won the feature photography category for a moving essay on a Boston Marathon bomb blast victim who lost most of both legs. Many journalists are imprisoned for doing their jobs like the Aljazeera staff, who were dealing with sensitive issues in Egypt. They are Peter Greste, Baher Mohamed, and Mohamed Fahmy
“Prosecutors have failed to produce any evidence for their imprisonment, yet they are held now for 108 days without trial. The court even denies them bail and has adjourned their trial four times. There is international condemnation, as journalists need to cover issues around the world without fear of imprisonment.
“We must never forget Marie Colvin. She was a Sunday Times journalist and a French photographer, who were killed in the besieged Syrian city of Homs. Colvin was known for wearing a black eye patch after she lost an eye due to shrapnel wound while working in Sri Lanka in 2001.
“These journalists covering these kinds of work shoulder great responsibilities and sometimes they face the ultimate price. We, the general public, owe it to the brave efforts of all these courageous reporters and their colleagues.
“They keep working in the face of extraordinary intimidation and circumstances. These journalistic rewards are much needed and more should be acknowledged by the general public. If it were not for them, the truth would never come out!”

The Natural Way to Turn Off the Street Lamp
“In the Netherlands they have now a 500m stretch of highway which has glow in the dark markings. This new invention is paint which has a photo-luminising powder that charges up in the daytime. It then is able to slowly release a green glow at night.
“This invention is to do away with street lighting – an interactive artist together with a Dutch civil engineering firm has worked on the idea. It is the first time ‘glowing lines’ technology has been piloted on the road.
“Once this paint has absorbed daylight, it can glow for up to eight hours in the dark. The Dutch Government are shutting down street lighting at night to save money. Energy is becoming much more important than we could ever have imagined 50 years ago.
“This revolutionary idea is all about safety and the more that can be done to light up darken roads the better for all. The inventor Daan Roosegaarde was already working on projects involving energy-neutral streetlights when he came up with this idea.
“He thought of jelly fish that give out light yet have no solar panel and no energy bill. Nature is a wonderful thing and all our inspiration comes from nature and its natural laws.
“We just need to look at Leonardo da Vinci, who was an inventor, engineer as well as a painter and geologist. He invented the parachute, diving suit and air flight all from watching and learning about nature.
“We are so rich in this world. However we need the skills of those whose minds are receptive to the Higher Intelligence to see what is all around us. The answers are all there when we have time to look.”
